The Thrifty Teacher is an education store that runs on donations to provide secondhand items to teachers, art lessons to students, as well as open art studio opportunities to families.

The Thrifty Teacher is raising funds to defray the operating costs of expanding their impact to include before and after care programs for neighborhood students, day time art classes for homeschooling students, and teacher events/workshops to increase the educator community in the DMV area.

Each session will be driven by student interest and paired with a short educational video or text as their work dries.

Classes run Fridays from 1:00pm-2:00pm!
