Weekday Programming.

The Thrifty Teacher provides quality weekday programming for elementary students in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.

All staff are committed to student development, both academically and emotionally, and work to foster a love of art.

Additionally, all staff are CPR/first aid certified and will follow the masking policy of Howard County Public Schools.

Mindful Mornings: Have your child start their morning with mindfulness and an engaging morning meeting to set their day off to a bright start! Mindful mornings start at 7:00 am and students will be walked to school in time for breakfast.

Academic Powerhour: In the afternoon, students can be picked up from Laurel Woods and walked back to The Thrifty Teacher studio for our academic programming.
